The 100 & 250mL BELL-FLO™ spinner flasks have two 32mm angled sidearms, while the larger sizes have two 45mm angled sidearms. All flasks feature bottom indent, three vertical baffles spaced 120º apart and are silk-screened with the Bellco logo and graduated to approximate volumes. Blue PP sidearm caps with blue PP pouring rings are included. These flasks have the same overall heights as the 1965 series spinner flasks, with the addition of three baffles for enhanced agitation of contents. In addition, two neck finishes are available for the 500mL size: 70mm and 100mm.
The Internal Overhead Bearing assemblies for the BELL-FLO™ spinner flasks include a unique PTFE paddle plus a magnet holder and magnetic stirring bar. The design of the paddle along with the baffles greatly enhance mixing within the flask. Constant movement of the liquid both horizontally and vertically produces more efficient stirring.
